The OptiPlus Treatment

These are comfortable treatments. After applying cream, the team at Vicksburg Optometry will use electrodes to gently treat the area. Each eye is heated at the treatment temperature for 6 minutes. The treatment area is around the orbital bone. You then receive gentle gland expression from Dr. Miller to clear the clogged glands.

Post Procedure Care

You may notice mild redness after treatment. Make sure to drink lots of water, moisturize your skin and limit sun exposure that day. You are usually ready to go back to your regular schedule after a treatment.
